As the Certified General Accountants in the Great Toronto Area, we can prepare corporate tax returns for your company, whether large or small.

You must file your corporate income tax return with the CRA within 6 months of your corporation’s year-end.  For most businesses this deadline is June 30th (if your corporation has a December 31 year-end).  If you don’t file by the deadline, you’ll be paying significant penalties and interest.

If your business is a corporation you have file your return no later than six months after the end of each tax year. The tax year of a corporation is its fiscal period.

When the corporation’s tax year ends on the last day of a month, file the return by the last day of the sixth month after the end of the tax year.

When the last day of the tax year is not the last day of a month, file the return by the same day of the sixth month after the end of the tax year.

Corporate structure of your business creates opportunities for income splitting, estate planning, so contact us at info@taxgta.com to discuss how we can help you to take a full advantage of the tax system. Please subscribe the newsletter to receive the  free tax tips and advice.
